Wolfgang was the first person Victoria called when she realized she was in labor. It had been months since she had seen him as her parents had kept her in seclusion after successfully squashing the pregnancy rumors. Her dad was going to burst a blood vessel when he finds out she went to the hospital instead of staying at home.
Wolfgang gave himself points for showing up, but that didn’t mean he needed to stick around. Right?
Victoria: Why is this taking so long?
Dr. Donothing: Well, there’s a small complication.
Victoria: He seems perfect! What is this complication?
Victoria: Who would have thought it would be twins?
Donovan beat out Douglas by a mere two minutes.
Alistair: From now until you turn 18, there will be NO MORE SEX! Do you hear me?!
Victoria: Chill, Daddy. I’ll be good. I promise.
Victoria: Daddy, you need to calm down!
Alistair: Don’t tell me what to-
Samantha came running in, but it was too late to save him.
Samantha: What the hell happened?
Victoria: I don’t know! He was yelling and then he just fell over. *sob*
Wolfgang: I’m so sorry about your dad. I came over as soon as I heard.
Victoria: Did you come to see the boys?
Victoria: Yeah, the twins are yours. The paternity test confirmed it this morning.
Wolfgang: I’ll go meet them now. Hold my drink.
After finishing off Wolfgang’s drink, Victoria thought it would be a great idea to make more. Lots more.
Victoria: What do you want, Diego? I thought I made it clear that we were through..
Diego: Yes, and I thought we could have one last hurrah. I’m moving on to something bigger soon.
Wolfgang: What the fuck did you put in my drink, Vic?
Victoria: Nothing! Jeez.
Victoria drank until she didn’t care about anything. She didn’t protest when Diego started stripping off her clothes. She was pretty sure Wolfgang was as drunk as she was because he didn’t protest when Diego placed her on top of him and they fucked her for most of the night.
Victoria was sick for days. Sick with a hangover, that is. When she could finally get out of bed, she went straight to Diego’s.
Victoria: Don’t even think of coming to my place again. I have had the locks changed.
Diego just laughed and went back inside.
As time passed, Victoria’s drinking issue had not abated. She couldn’t possibly go to school and care for the boys, so she hired a nanny. It seemed to go well for a little while.
Davon: Should you really be drinking so much? What kind of example are you showing your kids?
Victoria: You’re here to take care of the babies. Not me. Relax, really. It’s under control.
Davon: Well, if you need anything, I’m here.
Well, he did offer to help if she needed anything and she really needed some attention. So, it wasn’t long before Victoria managed to get the nanny into bed and they had a great time. In fact, she couldn’t wait for the next time he came to work.
Their afternoons were spent in bed. She only left the house for school and got to spend more time with the boys.
It all came to an abrupt halt when Davon showed her the pictures he had taken.
Davon: I figure you’ll pay handsomely to keep this story out of the tabloids. As long as you keep paying, I’ll keep my mouth shut.
Victoria: You’ll keep you mouth shut no matter what. You’re fired!
Davon: You don’t care about the tabloids?
Victoria: No, not really. I’m single, rich, and beautiful. I’m already in the tabloids, what’s one more story going to do to me? Dumbass. You’re fired, now get out.
Now Victoria finds herself all alone trying to care for two infants, since her mother was hardly around and refuses to help her out.
Victoria walked in to the makeshift nursery to deal with a dirty diaper when she saw them. Her mother and Diego. On her bed fucking. Gross!
Victoria kept her eyes averted and quickly changed the boys and rocked them to sleep. She got out of the room as fast as she could.
Diego: Guess who you’ll be calling daddy soon, slut?
Victoria: Well it sure as hell won’t be you, that’s for sure.
As if he knew, Alistair came out that night. His ghostly cries were more sad than angry.
Samantha: Alistair, you’re gone and I couldn’t handle it. He made a pass and I let him. One thing led to another and I’m sorry if you feel betrayed. It doesn’t mean anything, if that helps.
Alistair: I’m sorry that I never got to properly meet you and your brother. I regret a lot of things.
Victoria: That man cannot get his hooks in to mom, Daddy! We have to do something!
Alistair: Leave that to me, darling.
Victoria: I seem to recall telling you not to come here anymore. I meant it!
Diego: This is great! I love ghosts! Oh and I love fucking your wife too. I think I’ll keep doing that straight to the bank!
Victoria: I’m sorry, Daddy. I thought it would work.
Alistair: Me too. We’ll think of something. I promise.
Victoria had to go to school, so she missed the boys’ birthday. They immediately started dancing around and singing out of the pure joy of growing up.
The neighbor next door did not appreciate the boys breaking out into song and paid them back.
Donovan stormed straight over there to put a stop to his shenanigans.
Diego: Go home, little man, and mind your own business next time!
Donovan: You’ll pay for this, Mister.
Diego was not worried in the least and even became even more rude.
Wolfgang: How come you look like me, but your twin does not.
Douglas: I dunno.
Wolfgang: Speaking of that. Where IS your brother?
Douglas: I dunno.
Wolfgang: Is there anything you do know?
Douglas: I dunno.
Wolfgang: I give up.
Victoria saw the note that the boys went out after school to spend time with their father. She got down to the Geekcon right before it closed. Sadly, this Cosplay person refused her selfie invite.
Victoria was pissed. How dare this nobody reject her selfie request! She followed him to the concession stand to give him a piece of her mind.
Of course, this is Victoria. A Victoria who has been celibate for several months. It didn’t take long for her to forget her anger and start complimenting him on his sexy body.
She managed to snag his cell number before the festival ended.
Sofia texted an invite to her birthday party, so that’s where she headed after the festival.
Victoria: Happy Birthday! I’m so jealous! I can’t wait for my turn!
Sofia: I thought you would bring the boys with you. I would love to meet them now that they don’t drool and crap themselves anymore.
Victoria: They’re still with their dad. I think they were heading out to dinner. I’ll bring them over soon.
Victoria: Please tell me your parents catered this party. I’m freaking dying of starvation.
Sofia: *laughs* Yeah, let’s head inside and see what there is.
The party ended up being a bust. In order for the Caterer to cook, Victoria had to break a nail and fix the stove.
Victoria: These situations are why we have repair people! And why have two caterers if you don’t have a working stove?
No one showed up for Sofia’s party other than her mother and sister. Victoria couldn’t wait until she could leave.
Too bad she arrived home to her own repair issues. The garbage shoot got jammed when Donovan took out the trash and almost lost his arm. Then the toilet broke. She called the landlord, but of course he didn’t show up until after she started fixing things herself.
Victoria: What took you so long? I called hours ago!
Seiji: Ms. Lockwood, you know I don’t work on things inside the apartment. Not unless you want to work out a deal.
Victoria: What kind of deal?
Victoria: You want…that? You can’t be serious.
Victoria couldn’t believe she was going to jack this guy off for a toilet to get fixed.
The landlord ended up getting her off too and it was amazing. In fact, she hadn’t been this energized in a long time.
Victoria gave Seiji a bonus before rushing off to school.
True to his word, Seiji had the toilet fixed before she had even gotten out of the apartment. He even mopped up the mess.
Victoria was on her way home from school later that week, when Sergio called and invited her over.
Victoria: Who are you and where is Sergio?
Joaquin: I’m sure Sergio will be here soon. Just hang out for a bit. I’m Joaquin, the roommate.
Victoria: Look, I have to go. My kids need help with their homework and I like to be there at bedtime. Tell him to show up next time.
Joaquin: Hey, before you go, let’s have dinner?
Victoria: I don’t think so, but thanks anyway.
As she was walking out the door, Malcolm called. He wanted her to come see Ghost Night at the bar.
Victoria really had no interest in this, but she showed up anyway.
Victoria: This is lame, Mal. I’m going to head home and spend some time with the boys.
Mal: Fine. See you.
It was past their bedtime, but Victoria was determined that they did their studying first. She did have to enlist Samantha’s help to get it done faster.
Then Victoria had to do her own homework.
Samantha was helping Victoria with her homework when she paused for a few minutes.
Samantha: I think it’s time we move, Victoria. This place is not set up for children and they are bored. I thought of hiring a decorator, but they need a yard to play in.
Victoria: It’s up to you, Mom. It would be nice to get you away from Diego.
Victoria: He’s after your money and power. You don’t need him.
Samantha: He was just a rebound after your father passed. The man doesn’t stand a chance. I didn’t get where I am today by being stupid, you know.
Victoria: Sorry, Mom. I was just worried about you. That’s all.
Victoria was relieved. Maybe a move to a new town would be just what this family needed.
The boys had gone to bed after brushing their teeth and were happy to hear the news about getting a real home.
Douglas: I wonder if that means mommy will play with us now.
Dononvan: It would be nice, but don’t get your hopes up.
